Gitana. Back in the water...
After a 5-month winter lay-up, Gitana returned to her natural element on Monday 14th April at her technical base, the Multipôle 56 centre in La Trinité-sur-Mer (Atlantic).

It took the Gitana Team just a few hours to take her out of the base, set her onto the slipway just 100 m away at high tide, fix her appendages in place and step her mast.

Two days later, Gitana got underway for Lorient (40 miles / 74 km north) where she will be training every day right up until the Grand Prix de Lorient (25th to 26th April), the first time that Gitana will be competing crewed alongside the ORMA 60-foot trimaran fleet.

A delivery in light air, perfect for testing the new main sail and for getting crew cohesion together.
